fuck yeah i saw that — many mothers
I already reblogged a thing about Mad Max: Fury Road and Avengers: Age of Ultron and the contrast between how they deal with motherhood, infertility and what it means to be a woman. But it still frustrated me, and my frustrations were really, really well articulated by this article. But this is the relevant quote:. If you had five butt-kicking women in this movie, it would seem perfectly logical that one of them might have a story related to getting pregnant or not. These, for me, are scarcity problems. They are problems because there are so few opportunities to show women in action blockbusters that I tend to crave something very much capable of moving discussions of what those portrayals can be like forward. I think this is an interesting discussion in the context of Fury Road , because, intentionally or not, the movie takes on the scarcity problem in a couple of different ways.
I feel like the tumblr community is very heavily for gay rights. I just feel really alone out here. And just so you know, traditional marriage is not necessarily one man, one woman and was actually typically one man, multiple women. Silly Christians.
Is it real or is it something that people make to fool themselves? The question is, does love really exists? I bet the one who wrote this essay is going mad. Can I just say that sanity left her all along?
